Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth!

Serve the Lord with gladness!
Come into his presence with singing!

Know that the Lord, he is God!
    It is he who made us, and we are his;
we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

Enter his gates with thanksgiving,
    and his courts with praise!
Give thanks to him; bless his name!

For the Lord is good;
    his steadfast love endures forever,
and his faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 100

When do we gather to worship?

We offer Worship Services in three languages, English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Join us as we praise and adore our Saviour King, listen and respond to the gospel proclaimed, and sit under the authoritative Word of God. We do this as brothers and sisters, in an inter-generational community.

iWorship (Cantonese Young Adults): Saturdays at 7:00-9:00pm

Cantonese: Sundays at 9:30-10:30am

Mandarin: Sundays at 9:30-10:30am (Chapel)

English: Sundays at 11:15-12:30pm

We offer children ministry programs on Sundays from 9:30-11:00am and 11:00-12:30pm, visit the NextGen Ministry page for more details.

What do we teach?

Join us from January to April, as we teach and ponder through the Apostle Paul’s letter to the Church in Philippi.

The book of Philippians is a letter, exhorting all disciples of Jesus to live in a manner “worthy of the Gospel” (Phil. 1:27), as “citizens of heaven”.

What happens in a worship service?

  • Call to Worship

  • Songs of Praise

  • Announcements

  • Prayer

  • Two-Minute Gathering

  • Scripture Reading

  • Sermon

  • Song of Response

  • Benediction

If you’re new and not sure what to expect from our English Worship Service, here’s a brief taste:

Our service begins at 11:15am with a Call to Worship. This is an invitation for us to ready our hearts to begin our worship, through a reading of the Psalms, and with prayer.

Then we begin with singing. We’re gathered to adorn our God with praise, for He is worthy! What better way to celebrate Him than through song and music!

We want to share the life of our church with you, so we’ll highlight some announcements, or invite you to join us for upcoming events.

After sharing in community, we’ll share in our conversations with God. We’ll pray together; for each other, our church, our city, and our world.

We’ll move into a two-minute Gathering Time after that. Say “Hi!” to those sitting around you, grab a drink, or fill the room with joy!

Don’t go too far though, because we’re about to dive into God’s Living Word. One of our youth will lead us in a Scripture Reading. Let’s hear what God has said, and is saying again through His Living Word.

Once we’ve read the Bible verses, a Pastor will preach a sermon. Sermons are a time to teach from the Bible, and a time to declare good news! In each of our sermons, we’ll be invited to wonder and ponder about who God is and what he has done for us. By Jesus’ life, ministry, death and resurrection, we’ll see how his sacrifice on the Cross changes the way we live in response. Come listen to good news about what he has done for us!

We’ll respond with a reflective song, or once a month we’ll come to the Table of Remembrance by partaking in Communion together.

Our service concludes with a Benediction, which is a word of blessing as we are sent out to love the world.

No need to rush away! Please stay for casual conversations in the lobby over coffee and refreshments. Some of us stick around for informal activities in the gym, or perhaps we’ll go for lunch together. Or, we’ll share a simple meal together in the gym, on the first Sunday of the month.

Some FAQ’s:

  • Where do I park?

    • Free parking is available at SEAC all day, and at the TAWA Centre from 9:00-2:00pm. Please scan the Impark or Indigo QR Codes posted in our lobby to register your vehicle (we’re not keeping your info, we’re just discouraging public parking in our lots).

    • We’ve also reserved spots at SEAC for newcomers, and families with young children!

  • Do I need to dress up?

    • Not at all! Please come as you are!

  • Are kids welcomed?

    • Yes, absolutely! They’re welcome to stay in our Worship Service, or we have children’s program on Sundays where they will play games, learn from a Bible lesson, and make new friends! Please visit our NextGen Ministry page for more details.

  • What if I’m not sure about Christianity?

    • We all have questions, and this is why we meet. Our aim is to help you find a space where you can explore life’s deepest questions in a welcoming space. We’d love to build a friendship with you, so please consider reaching out to us.
